The venue was surprising - big and well equipped, nice comfortable room and friendly atmosphere. Staff were all very good, however special credit to Calum, who served us both for dinner (food was pretty good) and breakfast, with the same sunny friendly demeanour on both occasions.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is wonderful but if you choose not to eat here there are plenty of places nearby. The hotel has a family welcome feel and the staff will help you any way they can. Parking is onsite and there is additional parking on the road or in a specific area across from the hotel so no issues parking. Coffee, tea and milk are in the room, hairdryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner. You just have to ask for an iron and board and they bring it straight to the room. They do hold weddings, party’s etc.. if they are on an evening they stop at midnight. There were a couple whilst I was there and there was no trouble with noise at all. I have stayed here a good few times and it will always be my choice if I am in the area.

It’s location was perfect for me. I was visiting family near by. Rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy. I have used the hotel before and do enjoy staying there.

We moved from our usual hotel that we use when visiting grandparents to here as the room was no longer suitable for 4 children. We are very pleased with the upgrade and it was value for money. Large spacious room with beds for 2 adults and 2 children. Excellent free parking and plenty of overflow. Very quiet Sunday to Tuesday, not a sound and good solid walls and doors. Friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast smelt amazing even though we didn’t have anything, probably will next time. It has everything you need here for a good feed or beverage. Very good beds for a 3 star hotel.

We came for the weekend and booked a family room, which was spacious and very clean. we had breakfast in with the price, and there was a continental selection as well as a separate menu, we also had our evening meals here, and all was absolutely delicious, so our compliments to the chefs, the bar staff and reception staff were so pleasant and very helpful nothing was too much trouble, what a cracking stay will definitely be booking again without hesitation, we will be back what a credit to the best western chain this hotel is well done and thank you 😊

From the minute I walked in I was met with a smile and all staff I met made me feel welcome as though I was a regular. Food simple but excellently cooked with more than one gluten free option and reasonably priced. Wine also reasonable priced per glass. Room large, warm (I stayed there due to potential snow disruption) and clean with lovely hot/bath and shower. Asked for a quiet room(got room 41)which looked at a wall and I suspect helped reduce any external noise. Would use that room and this hotel again. Plentiful parking across the road (behind a metal fence). I felt very safe there. Very good in room lighting not one of those places where you only have subdued lighting where you cannot read

Bathroom had been newly refurbished. Breakfast, which we had in our room, was very good. The staff were very friendly, special mention must go to Rebecca on Reception who made our stay memorable. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the addition of a dressing room. The location was all important to us as it was round the corner from our Daughters house.

The food was absolutely lovely and so much of it! The small double room was ideal for me as a single traveller and the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, I really didn't want to get out of bed for breakfast! The staff were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

- staff members were excellent. Very welcoming. - though slightly outdated,the hotel was very comfortable and most importantly, clean and had the facilities needed for a relatively comfortable stay - parking outside the hotel and the off-street parking I would definitely return here again. There was a wedding party/reception that evening, but it was fine. Good to see people enjoying themselves! As a solo (female) traveller, I felt safe and comfortable. The price for the night was also great (please don't increase it..!).
